Aleena is a compassionate and dedicated Resident Physiotherapist with a strong academic background and a commitment to delivering patient-focused care. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in India in 2021, where she built a solid foundation in rehabilitation sciences and clinical practice. To further expand her perspective on holistic care, she pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation in Canada, gaining valuable insight into promoting overall wellness through meaningful and engaging therapeutic interventions.
With approximately one year of clinical experience in a multi-specialty hospital setting, Aleena has worked with a diverse patient population, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal and geriatric conditions. Her clinical approach emphasizes improving functional mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life through evidence-based treatment strategies. She is experienced in designing individualized exercise programs, including strengthening exercises, range of motion exercises, balance and proprioception training, gait training, postural correction, and functional mobility training. She also incorporates techniques such as core stabilization, stretching programs, and fall prevention exercises to support safe and effective recovery.
